Hey all,
I've been playing Civ IV for a bit, but after getting irritated with how badly inflation limits expansion late-game (and ultimately limits the ability to play long after 2050), I reduced the mechanic to 0 by modifying a file. I did the same with global warming, a change I'm not regretting, but I'm wondering if there's some way for me to keep inflation in the game without it being utterly game-breaking. I want some way to penalize over-expansion of empires early-game, but also allow for possiblu world-dominance by a superpower late-game. Are there certain values I could look at inputting to achieve this?
