V 1.61 Multiplayer Bug

When I installed the new patch it not only erased my game profile but it either crashes the game or does nothing at all when I try to create a new profile . someone please help I want to play online again!!!

Tried reinstalling still no luck i'm going to see if it's not my firewall of which I have a sneaking suspicion it might be. but It never was a problem before
