V154.2: New Technology popup coming at end of turn

The New Technology Researched popup seems to come up now at the end of the turn, rather than at the beginning of a new turn. I don't remember this happening before v154. It's annoying because it pops up, then an event pops up, and the voice over guy talks again when you close the event text.

This is because some science is added promptly at the end of the turn, while the vanilla science processing happens *during* the turn processing. When the end-of-turn science is enough to finish a tech the popup appears earlier. It's been happening as long as I remember.
 
This can't be changed without the game core code only Firaxis has access to. They only provide modders with two places to change yields between turns, #2 and #5 on the timeline:

  1. End of turn - vanilla
  2. End of turn - mod
  3. AI turns
  4. Start of turn - vanilla
  5. Start of turn - mod
Placing the science at #5 causes worse problems. :undecide:
 
Okay that makes sense. But for some reason I just noticed it the past few versions of your mod. I guess that's because of the science boost
