For those still playing Vanilla or PTW and maybe the even fewer who also take the time between games to go over reference lists or organizations of concepts or components like units, improvements, wonders, etc.. For some reason I enjoy revisiting this things I've put together and reorganize them time and time again.

I suppose one of the hallmarks of a fanatic is we do crazy things: So here is mine: Attached is a PDF and some bit maps of the Units and some notes related to warfare. I include the bit maps which are chunks of the PDF for anyone who wants to join in my craziness and piece a view of the Units that will ideally fit there computer screen. I did it with Paint, the bit map program that comes with window in under 15 minutes. Unsure of the value towards game play or discussion, but I just needed to throw it out there. Thanks for listening.

Well I couldn't get all of the bit maps attached, some sensible restriction on the number allowed, I doubt there is interest in the rest, but if there is I'll be happy to download the rest.

One of the moderators here has a sig that links to a great PDF for each version, C3, PTW and C3C. It has all units, traits, gov and all that stuff.

Edit it is Turner, go to the first page of the quick question thread.

I'm just a lonely soul who likes fiddlin' with them, wandering if anyone else does. No need to respond if you don't!

You'll notice we didn't say 'Don't bother, it's been done before'. We're just saying the information is out there.

There's no reason you couldn't compile the information yourself and put it into a format that's convenient for you....

Which is exactly what I'm offering to anyone who wants to piece together their own single page for all the units. The Units.pdf file is my arrangement of all the units. I went for less detail that tends to clutter things up and just show prgression through the ages mostly through upgrade pathes. Text in red indicates units added with PTW and asterisks indicate units with zone of control.

I don't suppose anyone wants to discuss the arrangement or how many details you like to see?

Actually, I am in the process of doing something similar for Conquests, tracing all of the units upgrade paths since I modify the game quite a bit. Besides, some of the upgrade paths are a bit odd in my view. I was doing it as a straight text file though, rather than images. Perhaps we could combine forces?

Timerover, if we could work out the process on an unmodded C3C set of units I'd be happy to help out with a modded version. I use a cheap capable CAD program (Designcad) to put it together. How do you suggest we proceed?
