very unsatisfied with Civ6 - 2 thoughts about

I'm very unsatisfied with Civ6. I only like the new graphics and sounds but they rest feels like a late alpha version.
There are so many things undone. All parts of the game need improvement and i don't think that any patch nor DLC will do this.It's like you would by a new car and get only the car body parts.

Here are two thoughts of mine i would like to see in CIV6:

1. Diplomatics :
Diplomatics are quite useless in the vanilla game. In my opinion bad relationships to other Civ's should reduce the income from trade routes to them like embargo's in real life.

2. City States:
City States mechanics in CIV6 are rather weak in my opinion. I want the part back which makes it possible to intimidate them to get some ressources.. That would be fun!

What do you think about that?

I would like to see more diplomatic options included in tandem with something like the influence resource from Endless Legend, as it would create more opportunity cost and other decision-making in the diplomacy part of the game.

(Oh and I also like the market from EL)

I agree with your first point about diplomacy being totally confusing and rather meaningless. The second however, I totally disagree, I am such a huge fan of the Envoy system and the different kind of bonuses they give, especially how strong and varied they are.

I like the diplomacy but do get frustrated that it is so useless others bypass it and then complain when it affects them with screen spam. The trouble is internal trade routes provide so well that people do not bother going internationally so you have to nerf the internal or buff the external to make this happen. Fixing the AI so it is more threatening would be a more eloquent and correct solution in my view.

City states are great with the envoy system, they do work well and a CS can be a very helpful ally. I quite liked the personalities of CS in civ V, this area could be improved and yes intimidation could come into it but does agressive play need encouragement at the moment?
