what is the diff between vet and non vet bomber abd fighter

A vet bomber has less of a chance of being shot down by a fighter; bomber usage is not my forte, but vets seem to have a higher percentage of hits than misses in my experience. That might just be the RNG however.

It is not just the rng. I have run some test with preserve rng and when I take a reg bomer, it missed and the vet or elite hit on the replays. So it seems that you get a small boost in your sucess at bombing it affects being shot down.

If you are going to be building bombers mostly, you can get by without the airport. Bombers will get promoted eventually.
