for a diplomatic victory, how do you get other civ's to vote for you? they did that in Civ IV if i remember well. but now, if i want a diplomatic victory, i just buy all the city states the turn before the vote.


How does victory work if you play in teams?

Only Civilizations you liberated will vote for you. So, yes, "Diplomatic Victory" is pretty much "Economic Victory".
