At the top of my high scores list, there are two ridiculous scores, around 50,000. I did not play these games, and my next highest score is only like 3000. The weirdest part is that where it lists the victory type, like space race, domination, etc, it just says "name". I'm serious, I have no idea what is going on here. My roomates play the game too but I play a lot more than them, and I can't see them getting that kind of score. The names listed for the leaders are the default names, eg Alexander of the Greeks. I think that might have something to do with the "name" victory type. Anyone experience anything like this?? Its kinda bugs me.

if you create a map with ONLY mountains everywhere except where the human player starts, you found your city on your first turn then the AI disbands all their settlers because there's no place they can found cities. you can get huge scores with that "cheat".

muhahahahah CHEATS muahahahahaha lol cheats are a bad thing they destroy game fun whats the point if you cheat and win Waste of Time

oh, ok that kinda makes sense. Does anyone know if its possible to remove these from the hall of fame?

P.S. Colonel - I didn't do it on purpose.

I think the high scores are in a plain-text file. Just find files&folders containing some text from your high-score list.

Or install cygwin and grep -R '[the text]' **

I think you can do this with the search function, "find files containing the text" or something.
But everyone should install cygwin to get a tiny taste of using a real computer is like :)
