Vid card for Dell OptiPlex small form puter?

Looks like patches or no I may have to dump the Intel 82865G extreme graphics card I have to get this game working well. (obviously not extreme enough for Civ4).

Any one else looked into cards for the Dell Optiplex GX270. I presume it needs a low profile card.
I have found the following which I think will both run Civ4 and fit the Optiplex;

GeForce FX5200 low profile
Radeon X550 low profile
Radeon 9600SE low profile

Anyone got any comments on better alternatives; problems with these cards etc.

Fraid not so far; but not had time to look into it any further. Suggestions on here not very constructive so far I see.

Will post here If I get a result. There is a lot of stuff on the Dell Community forum about video cards for these models; again not really had time to plough through it.

Found a suggestion that this POWERCOLOR R92U-LD3 Radeon 9250 256MB low profile might work; or possibly set fire to the machine; it runs very hot.

see this Dell community forum thread with links to suppliers. I have not tried one yet. You dont fancy taking a chance on your machine do you? perhaps not

I have e-mailed Dell (UK) support; to see if they have any suggestions.
