Yes. In my opinion, it should offer good CivIV performance with slightly reduced quality or at 1024x768 resolution. If you're able to get a decent OC out of it, it might do 1280x1024 at full detail (mine is in the exactly same performance class and does this with a 25% OC over the Nvidia spec).

With large and huge maps yes. To really enjoy games of these sizes, you need a RAM upgrade.

It would probably work but thats too much to pay for it. You can get a similarly specced card at NewEgg in the $55-$60 range.

Thanks, but I just bought it at best buy

And, after months of the game just sitting around, I'm happy to say the video card has made an impressive difference and I'll be happy to play my first game tonight.
