For some reason, recently my computer has decided to start playing all my videos in teal...that is the only colour it plays them in is teal, to varying degrees of contrast so that I can still make out the images. It's done this to every single program I have on my computer that can play videos, winamp, windows media player, realplayer, etc. I even downloaded a few obscure recently produced third party media players to see if I could get rid of the problem that way, but nothing's worked! I installed a few new codecs recently, so I uninstalled all of these to see if any of them had some unintentional bugs, but alas, that didn't work either. What could possibly be wrong??!?!?

Have you tried VLC? If that one shows Teal vids, it's a driver problem, if it works fine it's a ffdshow filter problem. If it doesn't work at all, it's time to buy a new computer :)

Yes, I have tried VLC.

I did recently update my video card drivers for Civ IV, I guess I'll try to reinstall them.

I rolled back my drivers, and the problem was fixed. Thanks.
