Probably not one for the seasoned Civ pros but it's likely gonna be good enough for a minor diversion every so often. Torpedoes seem a bit good and not sure the AI can deal with them.

Torpedoes are hilariously powerful. I don't want to say broken yet because I've only done one playthrough, but my god if you aim them right you can wipe the enemy out in a single turn.

What level did you try at? I should probably have started at hard instead, think I'll try that out next game I play.

Okay, to be fair I was on easy mode, but it still felt far too easy.
