Viewing the map - anyway to zoom out and see cultural borders?

Hi,

I just got civ4 last night and as usual with civ, was up all night playing :)

One thing I miss, though, is the ability to zoom out and see cultural boundaries- I like to suvery the map for the boundaries, surveying my empire *grin* and as well, planning etc. Thing is, past a certain medium zoom level, the boundaries disappear - instead you see very google-earth like clouds etc, which while interesting, don't do me much good.

anyone know a way to do this, is it even possible? I basically want to be able to survey a large section of the world and don't much care about the terrin etc - just the cities and boundaries

thanks for any thoughts :)

above the minimap there is a button that looks like the earth press that. then the buttons abovethe minimap will change one will look like a purple music note click that a you will see the culture

Alternatively, set "flying camera mode" (in the civilization.ini - under "My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\") to 1.
Within the game, press CTRL+ALT+F to enable the flying camera. Zoom out via mouse wheel or PAGE_UP / PAGE_DOWN
(depends on map size, which of the both will work better)
