The reviews on Amazon are
pretty middling. VGA resolution, also, would probably be too low - even if the resolution was OK for you (which it may not be, going by the reviews), you'd be trying to play a game designed for 1024x768 minimum on a 640x480 screen. It probably wouldn't be great, even if it works (which also looks questionable based on the reviews). Bottom line, I wouldn't spend money to try it.
This is also an area that's likely to see rapid evolution over the next few years, with the virtual reality improvements. Think Oculus Rift (Oculus/Facebook), Project Morpheus (Sony), Vive (HTC/Valve), HoloLens (Microsoft). It wouldn't surprise me if at some point one of these or another similar product offered the ability to use it as a video screen that would connect with a computer and mirror its display, but in an up-close, full-field-of-vision manner. And if that does happen, the quality will probably be much better.
The other reason I suspect the resolution wouldn't be great is that I've tried the Oculus Rift, first generation, and the resolution was noticeably poor IMO. At that time, they were saying about half of people saw a noticeable screen door effect, and I definitely saw it. But the second-gen and subsequent products will be higher res. The one you've linked to here is much closer to first-gen Oculus Rift resolution (and lower if that figure isn't per-eye), and thus a bit lower than what you'd really want.
