Most noobish is automated workers and not _ARGH_ teching with the team.

I dont think Gambler should be in however. In some cases gambling is worth it. (I WILL take on 25% odds on an early enemy city for example and love it when it succeeds). Risk/reward thingy.

I like this poll. Here is my rating for all options (10: very noobish, 1: least noobish)

1. Action movie fans : 9
2. Enviornmentalism : 8
3. Humanitism (never slave) : 3
4. People origin THE holy city of ALL religions : 1 (very rare, no typical noob syndrom)
5. Machine world : 10*
6. Acrophobia : 6
7. Psychologically : 6
8. Gambler : 0 (rather, fail to see risk/reward : 3)
9. Lord of the Ring Two Tower Fan : 4
10. I got my own free will scientists : 10
11. I need a consultant : 3
12. A GP (great person) conference : 2 (noobs dont usually get many GPs anyway)
13. My workers also require supplies : 5
14. Every road can reach ROME : 5
15. Every city requires 21 tiles : 8
16. civ acrophobia: 2
17. civ color blindness: 2
18. Pray for Loch Ness :1 (again very rare, no typical noob syndrom)
19. 1st building for EVERY city is library: 9
20. OCC player : 8
21. Super worker hero : 8
22. Military Oracle: 6
23. Pure blood is always better : 4
24. Deaf or mute mode on : 8
25. Save the King/Queen: 3

*note: occasional automated units are a good idea.

I don't fully agree with the first statement (although you also stated below that that in some occasions automation is clever). Because of the limited time in MP turns, if you already have a quite solid economy/infrastructure worker-wise, it's maybe good to automate workers and concentrate on moving your military units, especially if there are many of them..

But I _COMPLETELY_ agree with your opinion on individual scientists... As far as I have concluded, it's ABSOLUTELY NO USE teching separate techs than you allies, because simultaneous teching results in faster complete times, though the total amount of bakers invested in the techs is absolutely the same. I believe that the beaker overflow always goes to the next tech, so if say, the team (of 3 ppl) wants to get a tech which takes 1 turn to complete even with only 2 players' investment, it's the same whether one of them already starts investing on the next tech or not?

99% time you MUST tech together with your teamate.

However, if you want to give the front civil a religion (not Buddhism cause your team may lose that religion to enemy) or an artist (from musics), maybe at the LAST turn of research, the back player could switch to the next tech. NOTICE this risks a little of losing the first discovery of that tech.

Thanks for reply, and glad you like it.

And yes, Gambler is not noob act at all if benefit/cost ratio is above 1.

E.g. You would try to take a city with odds lower then 50%.

Another case might be you got 2 units attacking 1. Although first unit is more likely to be dead, but second one is more likely to be alive and promoted.

There are other cases where benefit/cost is greater then 1.

By the way, if it is not about most noobish action, and it is talking about most obvious syndrome stating the presence of a noob, Action Movie Fan (Always turn animation on) should be the one unless a new patch just come out.
