I'm making some headway into fleshing out the wiki and part of the process will be to add a logo and background to it.

The background needs a bit more thought and I welcome any and all ideas.

I'd like your input into the small logo that will reside where it currently says: Civ 5 CBP Wikia

Here are a four choices I've mocked up:

Number four is easiest to read but perhaps you can borrow some stuff from number two.

I'm not a fan of those graphics on the side but the main text is good. I like the V substituting the U though. Especially since Civ V has the whole "V" thing.

Here's my take on it:

The fourth one is clear and simple, like almost everything nowadays. And has one symbol instead of 2.

Wodhann, your proposition is nice as well, I like these arrows and dot under the text, but maybe would be better with a font from the 4th logo? Or work on each letter, f.e. make second "P" closer to the 2nd "O" in "POPULI" word; make "I" thinner.

However it appears 1's 'B sample' shows signs of pixel-enhancing drugs and it has been stripped of that honour, the winner is now Number 4.

This is purely subjective but I think our logo should not incorporate any "official" CivV elements as it tends to give the impression this is an expansion, IMHO.

I prefer something that is wholly ours. Nevertheless I do like the look of your blog. Very nice.

I'm all ears about using different art behind the VP logo when I post about it. Maybe I could peel some art from a Wonder unique to VP?
