I like it. Except the polar ice caps should be off and i did that. I wouldn't go with the 100 x 100 because there is a lot of empty space in Sudan so it will be hard to place cities there.

I dont know how to do new polar caps...unless you just meant turn them off in the editor, which I forgot I could do until right now

I thought 100 X 100 was too much desert too, but this map seems too small to play on...you seem happy with it...is the Nile ok?...there is a small river missing in the south, but that area is saturated with em already...and I also forgot to "detail" the Saudi corner...there should be a little bit of "plains" mixed in up there

my 2 cents...Yemen is a terrible spot on the map...I had to ease off on the mountains to make it livable....Chad is in a nice place, but not much on the map...Saudi is good, and would allow you to incorporate small boats in the Red Sea... I would say Lybian Rebels sounds good...Congo and CAR Id like to see...as well as both Sudan factions...

Its under map, and above X and Y Wrapping; Default is checked; Just Click It

About the map; I'll see how it goes, I like it though; That small river shouldn't matter. I'll do the detailing.

I'm only going to put Yemen to fill the map. Chad is also a filler.

Where would you put UN Base, I think it should go near Khartoum but it also could easily be in Egypt, Ethiopia, or Saudi Arabia.

well, Id have to say "near Khartoum" or Ethiopia...but thats just based on where they are on the map...

I'll probably place it 2 squares from Khartoum and give them air bases near other capitals and I'll place airbases in Darfur and the South.

Yeah my computer really sucks so I'm just going to have to wait to display it.
All city placement is done. I couldn't find any towns, cities, or even villages on that corner where Sudan, Egypt, and Libya meet.
For now I just called them Sudan Monitoring Station or something like that.

I now know why I can't make zipped files, because I had stupid WinRAR on my computer.

Major Decision!

This scenario, as I have realized, is going nowhere, and production will be halted until Civ 4. Many thanks to Spacer One for his help on the map.f

I suppose thats the way it is, but I wish you had checked the calendar before I made the map...such a waste...

I personally will be getting Civ4 but wont even take it out of the box for 6 months, at which time I will return it to the store for an updated version
