Does anyone here play Warhammer, W40K, LOTR, Inquisitor, Warmaster etc?
If you do lets talk about it and your armies, conversions, tips etc.

I collect-

1-Tyranids (40K)
2-Eldar (40K)

3-Undead (Warhammer)
4-Chaos (Warhammer)

5-Inquisitor warband

6-LOTR (general)

I've never actually played but my twin and our best friend went in on a "starter" box for 40K. We mostly just fooled around with them but never seriuosly played.

I'm getting back into collecting them, got a Blood Angels Death Company and Space Wolves Long Fangs. Thinking of getting some scouts or something next.

It gets a lot more fun when you have a proper army and know the rules better so keep at it and youll love it!

I sort of collect Space Orks but rarely get round to painting them. A word of warning to Esckey be very careful if you go into Games Workshop if you ever want to buy anything from there buy,it pay for it, dont ask any questions and get out as quick as possible there are some very strange and disturbing people in that shop so dont stay any longer than you have to.

Well thanks for the warning but my family is very strange and scary(my dad picks up road kill.........as a hobbie) so most people don't bug me that much. But I was in there the other day and the overwhelming geekdom of the people playing was starting to suffocate me, which is odd cause I'm into everything even slightly geeky.


Gonna head down there again on Tuesday and get some putty and some fine brushes, my regualr brushes that I use on my model planes and tanks aren't gonna cut it.

i just prefer playing MTW then Warhammer. it is faster when you can play out a 4-hour battle in ten minutes on MTW. I am suprised no one has made a warhammer mod for RTW or MTW.

Its the predecessor of Rome: Total War. Total War is a series produced by Creative Assembly, and it all started with Shogun: Total War. Best execution of large scale melee combat I have ever seen(all of them).

ultramarines suck and u guys should make your own chapters usinfg the new codex-is that out in the USA? and the W40K edition 4 rules?

No they dont mine beat up everybody they came into contact with and were great for camoflage in rivers

I play. I was thinking of oputting up a thread, but saw this one. My main army is Lizardmen, regular warhammer. Im probably going to get more into 40K. Possibly imperial guard, or something.

Not that many people seem to play just warhammer instead of 40K here?

I play almost all of Games Workshop's syatems, including many ones now out of cmmision, and to all you newbies i strongly advise getting out of the Space Marine bandwagon and joining the Eldar...

Good to see someone else likes Warhammer as well, have you ever played the origninal Warhammer edition? It's great!

I wouldnt play as Eldar as Ive never seen a battle report where they win.
