warlord help

i can't seem to win on warlord. i kick butt on cheiften. The AI doesn't want to trade with me and they always gang up on me. Do you have any tips for me?
Why can't i win on warlord?

Yes, read cracker's stuff. It took me a while to get off Chieftain, and I still drop back to Warlord from time to time to try out something new. I usually play on Regent and Monarch these days, but at one point I could not win on anything beyond Chief.

Keep trying! And read everything in the War Academy on this site!
