[WARLORDS] Amra's Modpack v2

I plaid for two new wonders from the link i gived in the last page before this page...

I plaid for Adam Smith's Trading Company and Marco Polo's Embassy...

You should add Economic Victory :) only available if you have Polo and Smith...

Goal : accumulate 25000 Golds before the end of the game...

What do you think of my idea ?

Let's see... my first time merging SDK mods... Merge BetterAI? Uh, yeah. That should be real easy. :crazyeye: :confused: :crazyeye:

It seems to be the general consensus that the BetterAI modders are working for Firaxis now so I'll wait until it is in BTS. :D

I am looking at some new wonders from that link but am not up to coding a whole new victory type in SDK. Maybe someone else would be.

I am unfortunately leaving the Sevo Mastery victory out of the next version because I found some differences in the coding of the Warlords version 1.1 by Thorn that I just have no clue how to merge (at this momemnt) without really screwing something up in the SDK.
 
@Amra: have you seen bmarnz's work, Joan of Arc?(http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=215335) I downloaded, but it is a mod itself.I was thinking, maybe is there a way I can include it in your mod, so when I load it, I can also play this leader? This way, all of the leaderheads, become in only a mod.if not, no problem at all.Thanks.

I'll download it and take a look.

My main goal with this next version is to fix the Air strike bug and add the extra Tank/Air EDUnits that I have talked about so I don't want to start adding more civs. However... a new leader (that has already been made) is pretty easy and I do like the look of that LH (Even though it is a little shiny ;) ). I'll see what I can do.


PS: The Air strikes appear to be working fine now that I have compiled a new dll.
 
NICE MOD!!! i haven't tried it yet, but i will all the new civs look really cool
Thanks. The current version has a few bugs that I am fixing. I hope to have a new version out in a week or two.
 
Ok, here I come to bother you again, I apologise for that, I began to play CIV4 in Jan 2007, so I'm sure it is my fault.

yesterday I was playing as a Mayan(I also played Breton's and another one I can't remeber now the same thing happened), I adjust the research level to 70% but after every new discovery comes once again to zero.What am I missing of doing? or what am I doing wrong? maybe it's my computer hardware.

P.S.: I just played the ancient era, didn't go farther.

you came up with lots of civs you should put some states in it would make there lots of stuff (not that there arent already) i also cant wait to play as the pirates and scythia (i like aggresive civs lol)
 
Why the heck are my units telling me the haven't seen me since I was knee high to a grasshopper?

Beachcombers?!?!! WTH....

On another note, this is now my mainstay unaltered atmosphere mod pack, to get me un-bored of FFH.
 
PS: IF I end up going with a new version of this modpack I wouldn't mind some help with testing before releasing it to the general public (especially since it would be the first time I've compiled my own dll). It will be a little while yet but if you are interested, let me know.

I would probably be interested. Though my time available is limited it might be worth something...

She's shiny because she's fresh from the battlefield.:shifty: I did update it so that it's not quite as shiny.

I could do some testing for you.

P.S.: You should put my dive bomber in as well.:mwaha:

I've already put Joan of Arc in the next version. I think I got the updated version and she looks sweet. :goodjob:

I've downloaded it (looks good) but I'm not sure where to add it as I've already added the P-47 Thunderbolt (from Modern Warfare mod) as America's Fighter unit.

I'm not sure if my japanese version of civ4, warlords is helpful for you, but if you think you can use my pc as a tester, it's OK, I let it do.Although I don't know to play so well as the others, I can report exactly what happens in the game for you.

Thanks rebakan, I'll add you to the list. I'm just looking for some people to play a few games and let me know about any errors such as the air strike problem (which now appears to be fixed) or any crashes.

In case you missed it, I've added Joan of Arc. :D

Do I need to re-download all the mod again with the patch A. like the first time?
If I do and re-install it, my old game(the one I am actually playing) will function well?

Unfortunately, due to all the changes I'm making (I've made a LOT), you will need to download the new version when I have posted it. If you are interested in testing, then I will PM you with the download link for the testing version. That will most likely be the middle or end of this next week.

Any saved games from version 2.08 of my modpack will not work with the next version (v2.10), sorry. You'll still be able to play v2.08 since v2.10 will install to its own folder, but I don't know why you would want to due to the bugs. I'm very hopeful that the big ones have been fixed in v2.10 and it will be the final version for Warlords.

[EDIT] Okay, a quick search here and on Google isn't turning up anything on another patch for Warlords so I'll presume you were pulling my leg. :joke:
