So way back when Warlords came out I got it immediately. Haven't attempted a MP game since. Warlords is great but even better are the MODs people have made to go with it, for e.g. ViSa.
Last night I wanted to play some MP though. So I logged in and I was hoping to find some people that would want to play a ViSa game. To my surprise there was only one game even listed!
So I got to thinking. Maybe it is set up to only see people with the same version running. Well I unloaded my ViSa mod and logged back in. BAM lots of games listed. Found a game that was starting and entered the starting room. However, everyone said I was MODed, and of course they appeared MODed to me. This was not the case though. I was using the most recent 2.08 of Warlords.
So my question is, do actual MODs filter out games? So in the first case I had ViSa loaded so I could only see 1 game. And then does Warlords not do any filtering with Vanilla Civ?
