After 4 hours of finding out why i couldn't run civ 4 on windows 7 i finally fixed it and got both 1.61 and 1.74 working. I then bought warlords online off gamestop electroniclly. When i try to instal warlords it says i do not have a compatable version of civ 4? I wounder how many hours i will have to spend trying to fix a game so i can play it. Is it an issue or is it because i bought and downloaded warlords?

There are issues with combining downloaded versions and disc versions, some of which people only solved by purchasing all of one type or the other. I can't remember off-hand exactly which combinations have been found to be incompatible, there are several threads in this forum that may help if you can find them. I will have a search, but it will have to be later when I have some time.
I would contact Gamestop to see what they say.
