Warlords same system requirements?

Hi I was wondering if the warlords upgrade has the same system requirements as civ 4 because I just downloaded warlords after having civ4 for a while and when ever i double click on warlords to play nothing happens.. did i just waste 30 bucks ?

I am pretty sure they have the same requirements. If you go to www.srtest.com this will confirm if you PC can run most games. I thought about downloading the expansion from a site myself but somehow I still don't trust the idea of buying a game like that, I would rather have a CD and instruction book. good luck, I hope it gets working for you eventually!

^that site says my comp can handle it i would think so too because i have been playing civ4 for a while now with out problems. now though i just installed warlords and it doesn't load when i try to play.. also i tried to install the latest patch for it and whenever i try to it says that warlords isnt on my comp..

yeah this sucks i checked some sites and it said warlords has the same requirements to play as regular civ 4!!! ommmmmmmmmmmmmgggggggggggggggggg. each time i double click warlords to play it loads up in my task manager for a couple of seconds then it disappears. there has to be someone out there that knows how to solve this..

What ya mean ya downloaded it? Is this some "Steam" sh#T or some kinda demo bro? I hear you when you said youve paid in full but
reason Im asking is if its online product you could have run into some copyright curse thats buggin your system right now.
I'd be looking for faulty 'Securom" or some other burn /copyright protect software that maybe has mis queued the proper manufacturers install path if thats the case

Bought it from Direct2drive.com and I also bought Civ4 from them too and it works perfectly just not warlords.Basically when I launch the game (from the desktop) the hour glass appears for a split second and then it disappears again. Leaving the process running in my task manager (civ4warlords.exe) but not doing anything else.
