...with plastic eyeballs.
I have a confession to make: I am a Warmonger.

My general stratagey in the game is to smash a couple of civs for land/cities/pop/wonders/etc. Yet, the best thing I get out of doing this is respect from the other civs whom which I have been honoring throughout my conquests, only to quickly hate me as I turn around and smash them too, or if possible have them exhault me as king of the world.

That besides...

Why don't the other Civs war with each other? I have yet to see this. Can I do anything to get them too? I play the Japanese and ussually have to stomp on China first, yet India or Persia never want to get in the mix. I would expect Persia too...

Why can't I use roads in my enemies territory? When I invade, I don't get the movement advantage of the roads..

I have abunch of horsemen waiting for chivalry... Should I advance them? What happens to their status when I upgrade them?

Just split China in half... Should I take the wine or the iron from them? I have two iron in my empire, and 3 furs... am trading for spices... Yet, not for long. I feel that I could use the wine, but if I take the iron, I cut of China's only source. What should I do first? Luxuries are greatly needed during war, but cutting of their strategic resource would all but win it for me...

Lost the rush to the lighthouse... Have braved the waters with galleys to find all but one civ, and no one else seems to know where the last one is (Germany, yikes). How long do I have to wait in order to get better boats? What tech is this? Wanted to take the lighthouse, yet Persia has it, and I think I got to them by luck...

I have some towns that are pop 7, yet their cultural influence is still the smallest it could be. They are on another continent, have already built the FB, they have temples and libraries... What is the best regular improvement for cultural increases?

Any input would be helpful... Thanks

1)Other civ will go to war against each other, just wait a bit.
2)You cannot use roads because its meant for realism(blockades, mines and such)
3)Upgrade them.first you need a city with barracks and lots of gold then upgrade them.they will be wath they where except elite will go veteran
4)The iron.the Chinese need iron for their UU.else they will produce horsemen.horsemen=much easier to kill:)
5)You need astronomy. Then you get caravels who can sail at sea but NOT at ocean so be aware
6)libraries are good.also cathedrals but they take much time to build

I took the road to the south as I invaded China (the one with wine). I found 2 irons their. Thus, while I didn't eliminate their supply I lessened it. I eventually wiped out China, for the most part, and I know they have no source of Iron. Yet they keep producing swordsman... Is their a way to blockade trade between civs?

They also send the Riders now... They suk.

Is standard not to be able to upgrade units to your UU? I can't make samuri (spellign?) out of horseman or anyrthing for that mater.

AI's war all the time, you might not always see it, but when you see Rome as a babylonian city, it kinda gives it away.

You can blockade trade - technically.... it's easy if it's only roads, either plonk your units down on all roads between two capitals, or pillage them. Pillage around a capital city to make it easy. To blockade sea routes, you need to fortify your ships in the trade routes of the other civs. This can be done by fortifying in a narrow strip of shallow/sea between islands, or by blockading ports.

And I think a patch made UU's upgradeable, but i don't know if you can upgrade to them....

And lastly, killing off a couple of civs at the start is a good idea too. It gives you fine tech status, military and territory and makes good tactical sense, just don't break treaties to do it!
