water civ

I was reading some threads about weird UU and even some with Giant Death robots and I tought about some weird idea of mine ....... a water civ!

They would only be able to build on water ..... the normal marine trrops for other civs could be simple ground troops for the water civ and ground troops for other civs would be more complicated marine troops. put more ressources on the water.... they could have units like the Giant crab to replace the swordman or a pumped up whale as a tank !?!?!?!?

I think a cool mod would also be a hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy mod, and the different CIV's could be Vogon's and gargleblasters or whatever.

They had a Civ pretty much like that in SMAC Alien Crossfire--the Pirates. It was a real bear to fight.

If you've never played SMAC, you should definitely check it out.
