Weird leaderheads...

Everything was fine with 1.0 and 1.09. As of 1.52 the memory performance certainly seems better, but I'm getting a weird graphics anomaly with the leader animations. Some of the leaderheads have a strange "shadow" effect on their faces. No CTD's yet, but this is a bit frustrating.

AMD Athlon 2800 XP
2.08 GHz
512 MB RAM
ATI 9200 - Latest drivers as of last night.
Windows XP Pro SP 2

Any help?

In game settings reset when you load the patch.

Did your reset them the way you had them before?

I get the same exact graphics glitch. I have my settings back to the same as i did pre patch 1.52 and it is still funky.

It's weird because nothing seems to get rid of it. I suppose I shouldn't be so frustrated considering the rest of the game runs great, but it's really distracting to me. Besides, it was okay before the latest patch. What happened to change this?

I have the same problem. All in all, I'm happy with the patch though. I can live with this.

I have an ATI card, has anyone tried the latest drivers yet? I guess just released yesterday or today.

I use 2675a Omega and they work well.

I use the display properties from right clicking on the desktop advanced section and have them set to max performance which cuts out vsync then I have smartgart on with write combining and fast writes off.

I have no glitches useing patch 1.52 this way.

Also of note:

My page file is pretty clean too. It runs at 124mb useage before running the game.
