The Austrian Invasion of Italy has been repulsed.... 2 inf and a horse killed, and a cannon captured for the loss of one redcoat and one Horse...
Troops continue to watch the Ottoman force in Italy.... Will the turk chance his arm???

Where are our allies? The British are moving troops south in Italy to counter our invasion. The Sultan hawklord expected better support from our friends than this. 
The British seem to have sunk the Spanish ship blockading the route north.
Lost sipahi but killed redcoat outside Rome. What happened to my troops on the hill? They did not run off home I would have known about that?

I apologise..... i played the turn before i went to work, got here with precious seconds to spare, and finally now have time to write my report!

Britan made the tough decision to move the ship the Yellow boys wouldn't, BY FORCE
With war declared on Spain, British artillery bombarded any nearby Yellow units!
The Frigate was captured and turned into a MOW... and the British fleet proceeded toward the ottoman Bridgehead, fuming over a second landing they could have prevented if not for Yellow boy!!!!!!
With the Austrian threat removed for now, and Austrian forces distracted by our landing in the north, Troops began to reinforce central Italy in preperation for the larger conflict.
Two redcoats sallied out against the men on the hills above the Eternal city, losing one, but destroying the Turkish unit.
Britain's Italian forces outnumber the Invaders, and with naval forces now in position to intercept any reinforcements, and the latest ottoman landing being of a lower quality, We are confident we will win the day.....
Not to mention a little surpirse coming up in a few turns

Despite rumours, Rome is still British!
One Turk Inf killed near Roma, 1 transport sunk.
Those Ottomans got some more units on the ground- and are tearing up road!!!! But our forces are holding firm.
It seems Austria has left their 'allies' to their fate.........
Also been in the wars with spain, and Yellow Cav has come out of the woodwork!!!!
They also seem to have a million elite frigates! well, a few less now!!!

We killed a few redcoats in Italy. Our cavalry mostly ran away without inflicting much damage but our infantry killed all but one, who was left gravely injured (redlined). Our reinforcements have arrived in position for the assault on the city.
Meanwhile the British blockade proves effective. Though our science advisors tell us that we will have better ships soon.

Dispite rumors I have not abandoned my friends. I triped comming down the Alps and twisted my ankle. I'm putting in for workmans comp. I should be back on my feat once the checks stop comming in.
