Whether the developers knew about a lot of bugs, tech problems, negative reviews and etc.? Someone read something? Tweets and etc.

They are probably reading these forums to find more bugs and think of ways to fix them. I imagine a patch will be coming out when it's prepared.

Fixing the warmonger penalties/AI agenda issues would be a good start.

The only major problem I've noticed that has persisted over several games at different difficulties is the AI's apparent inability to upgrade their units in a timely manner (or at all in some cases). Hopefully a solution for that comes soon.

I was stuck at "move unit" ! after apparently moving everything and could not advance to the next turn. pressing the ! did NOT however take me to the unit in question. what I found was a support unit that was tied to a musketman was freed up and and had to be touched and kept in place. but finding it without autoselect next unit or the ! usual assist in this case was problematic.

Ah, I have this problem too. One of my enemies in my first game still used swordsmen in the Atomic Era.

Where have they said they're working on it??

They haven't. But we know they are from what they said pre-launch in livestreams (adding the ability to change city names, specify which leaders you want in game, etc). Then we know there will be DLC releases, and it's almost certain that there will be patches alongside or in between these, just as there was in Civ V.

There are so many UI bugs that even a monkey could have spotted them - I am sure Firaxis knows about the bugs and even knew about them before the launch...

No joking, because of the bug where the last item produced does not show correctly, I go around with notes on my workbook or even notepad. I guess it's an OCD thing of mine but I need this UI implement to play... :-(

I'm willing to bet 80% of the issues we're seeing they are already aware of and plan to fix in Patch 1 or 2, if they can't get to it by 1 and it's not critical.

Importhing thing for them to fix: Stopping you from getting the same AI civ as you are.

I just launched a game as Pericles, got a great start, near a natural wonder, then I found the first AI civ... another Pericles.

If you're not new to this franchise, then you should already be familiar with the cycle of things:

Within a reasonable time, we will get multiple substantial patches with fixes, improvements, and probably some content. So, rather than flaming on the devs, it is much more valuable for the community to offer constructive feedback and proposed solutions, since you can rest assured that the devs are in fact reading these forums.
