What are the military, religious, & scientific buildings?

The manual never specifies this point explicity. I presume that the buildings discounts are
religious = temple+cathedral
scientific = library, university, research lab
militaristic = barracks, city wall (?), coastal fortress, airport (??), SAM battery (?)

Wrong? Right? I'd appreciate if someone could clarify exactly what the buildings are that the bonuses apply to. Thanx.

you also have commercial buildings e.g. market places and banks if you want a comprehensive list look around the civfanatics website

But there's no discount for commercial buildings for commercial civs.

Only the traits of wonders are listed, but not of the standard buildings.

'Commercial' buildings are the ones Adam Smith's pays the maintenance cost for... markets, banks, airports, etc

You definitely got the science and religious improvements correct. As for the military ones, I believe harbours are also classified as military buildings.

if you discover nationalism and go into mobilization you will be able to see all the militry buildings that you can build

Harbours are made free by Adam Smith's you know... so I definitly don't agree with you on that!

no i read somwhere as well that they were classified as militry buildings in catts mobilization revealed at the war academy

The collosseum is Religious as well. At least in the game it serves the same purpose as the Religious buildings.

Actually it's not religious - try playing a religious civ and note that the colosseum doesn't come at half price. Only the temple and the cathedral are religious improvements, AFAIK.
