What are your milestones in your games?

I've noticed a similar pattern in thinking about my games and realized the other day I have certain milestones, or major conceptions, during the game.
What are yours?

For me this is the pattern:
[turn numbers are approximate]
Turns 1 to 30... can I play this map?
30 to 60... can I survive first and second AI attacks?
60 to 100.. is there a third AI attack, am I gaining in production strength and holding steady in military?
100 to 160... any key resources I'm missing? am I no longer losing ground in science?
160 to 200... just cruising along, world map is finally shown so can start planning on targeting AI civs.
200+... do I want to continue this game after removing at least 1 AI civ or start a new one?
[Equal in science so no longer playing catch up.]

Just curious if it is just my gameplay decisions, or pretty much standard progression because this is the approach the game dictates.

I never gave this much thought, but after reading your milestones, my own don't differ all that much.

The only difference is that of my final milestone:

Am I going to win this game at my current pace?
  • If so, keep playing until the victory screen while having fun on the margins (ex. warmongering and spycraft)
  • If not, can I make adjustments to get back on track (i.e. stopping the runaway A.I.)?
- If so, do so and reassess the milestone again after another 10 turns.
- If not, retire and try again (with another Civ).
