If Spain is not in vanilla, then it will the most obvious choice for a future expansion pack. As shown by previous versions of the series, Spain traditionally belongs to vanilla. It would be a mistake to break with that tradition and release a Spain-less vanilla. If this were to happen, Spain must be made officially available as soon as possible in some other way. There is no doubt that the final and truly complete version of Civ5 will include Spain.

I never said that Spain was in Civ1. And this is what I said in the other thread:

#1 Since Civ 2, all versions of the series have included Spain (either in vanilla or at least in an expansion pack). There is no reason why Civ 5 should break with that tradition.

He didn't say New Zealand, he said Sealand, which has played a much more important role in history than New Zealand.

Plus you would be mistaken about New Zealand anyway. They are quite an influential and respected nation in Oceania, and played a major part in WW1 and WW2. New Zealand led the World in women's rights, human rights issues in regards to natives as well as being an extremely respected sports nation.

Plus they have the coolest diplomatic greeting in the World.

I'd like to see themed modpacks that include multiple Civs. It would put an end to this incessant bickering about who is deserving and who isn't.

The first one could be "Bronze Age Cultures" and have Akkad, Sumer, Babylon, Anasazi, Minoan, Moche, and the Harappa (Indus valley).

We're not in Civ, so your argument is pointless.

Besides, I'd rather see a Civ worthy of addition such as Majapahit, Polynesians or Sealand, than Australia.
