I think it would have been more clever to make a Europe category instead of breaking it down in France, Germany and GB.

My girlfriend is from Italy, she likes playing the Romans or Byzantines (since C3C), she felt ignored as "other European"

If you count together all european votes and north african ones you can see that there are at least 40% of europeans participating in this vote. BTW, I think the original poster forgot about the Soviet Union, too.
