Hey everyone, yes it's my first post, but that doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to CivII. I've had the game for a year and it's the only game I play. Anyway I want to start playing online but I don't have the first clue where to start. I haven't had the internet long but I'm learning fast. Anyway I reckon that I'm a pretty capable player so if anyone wants to show me the ropes as regards playing online, reply to this.

well,you need the MGE or UCC edition of civ2.Then you need the latest patch(available here in downloads section)

There is a MP list here with over 700 players!..and an organized ladder for competitive play.

I recommend getting ICQ.Its a free messenger utility that most civ players use to set up games and what not.Kinda vital for when a player gets booted or any other tech prob that do tend to arise from time to time.
