What does the diamond icon mean?

Harbors are very important - you need them to trade with overseas civs who must also have one. You need them to upgrade ships and in the longterm, a city with a harbor is usually healthier. Try to build one in all your coastal cities - - -

Harbors also add one food to all worked coast and sea tiles. The most important reason to build a harbor is growth. Coastal cities in deserts and tundra are the first candidates for harbors.

and the one with an Airplane on it, indicates a City with an Airport :).

And the one with the Star is your capital (I think most people know that one :)) And the one with the star inside a Pentagon indicates an Intelligence Agency.

Actually, I think the Intelligence Agency is just represented by a pentagon. It only has a star in it when you build the Agency in your capital

What bugs me, is when you capture a rival civ's capital that also had the intelligence agency built in it. Then when their capital gets relocated, poof! They also get an automatic intelligence agency there too!
