what is "movies" folder for?

I don't know if this has been posted already or if it doesn't go here. Does anyone know what the "movies" folder in "art" folder for?? I'm pretty curious. Thanx

Well there should be movies in there...they are just little extras just for you...The programmers must have been bored to make some movies...

Its for the small movie like cutscenes that you see, like the intro you get whn u start civ or the rocket launching thing whn u hv a space race victory.

thanx!... but there's nothing on that folder. i think it is because a friend installed the game on my pc and it was a copy or something. but, where can I get those movies??

You can get those movies from a retail version of the game. Copied versions is piracy, and we can't help you with that.
