What Is Needed for Defense?

As a note--I am definitely too conservative and playing way too much defense. I really need to get aggressive instead of letting the wars come to me. When I first started playing the game, I was always out conquering. Then I got into the habit of turtling.

And yup--I know you're strategy has been discussed here plenty of times. But you explained it in a good way, instead of just a list.

Yeah, it's a bit addicting. Especially now with Tradition being so good.
