Earlier today I decided to reinstall my Civ3. I plugged the cd on to my cd-rom drive. Autorun starts up and it still includes a option to play Civ3! Obviously it didn't work anymore. Then I'm trying to reinstall it. the installation starts by saying 'confirm file deletion'. After that it creates a Civ3 icon to my c:\windows\ folder. That whole operation takes about couple seconds. I've tried to reboot my computer and I have tried everything I can think of. What is this about? Can anyone help me? is my cd screwed?
