well, mine would be domination victory.

Most common? I rather doubt that. Make a new poll and include all the options, then we'll see! The most conspicuous absentee is "Conquest", which I suspect is most people's favourite. I wonder why you did not include it... [ ]

There is a time and place for every victory condition, when such a condition is challenging and satisfying. The converse is also true - when it's not.

Generally, "Domination Victory" is the easiest way to win imo (unless you play Chieftain for a Wonder Victory) you really don't have to do anything but stay out of trouble and build long enough.

Yup, I voted conquest (or would have done if it was available). The purist's VC. My second favourite would be 20k; again the poll's options are a bit strange, as it lists just "Culture". But 20k and 100k are as different from each other as are space and dom.

I like the first part of the game. After I get ahead in tech i get bored and quit or go for diplomacy

Culture, especially 100k culture. It still requires having plenty of land to build up so much though, so I do go conquering until I have most of a continent at the very least.
