Horror/thriller films have immense comedy value. Just look at Texas Chainsaw Massacre and you'll see what I mean.

Oh no, now I get horrible flashbacks of watching a whole hour a hysterically screaming girl running away from some guy waving a chainsaw with no sensible plot whatsoever in that movie!
