Glad to see Electric Company on the list, and Sesame Street and Mr Rogers not on the list. Sesame Street and Mr Rogers were for sissies;)

I'm one of those freaks who doesn't like The Simpsons.

I voted for Mighty Mouse, but Loony Toons would be a close 2nd.
Failed to mention The Real Ghostbusters.
He's got Ghostbusters on there. I think there was only the one TV show.

I was a big fan of Captain Kangaroo, which I don't think has been mentioned yet.

I should have definitely included Masters of the Universe and Thundercats.

Plexus, Clarissa Explains It All, and Hey Dude were okay. But Power Rangers? That was sooooo lame. Pete and Pete was good, but not good enough.

I can't believe october mentioned The Real Ghostbusters. You actually remember that travesty as well? I was hoping it would go unmentioned.

And yes, Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street were totally wussy. Plus just about everyone watched those as well. Remember Square One on PBS? Or was I the only superdork who watched that little gem?

But one thing is very disturbing. As of right now, only 3 people acknowledged Count Duckula. That is staggering. I'm starting to feel like a member of a very exclusive club of elites who recognize the genius that was Count Duckula.

Yes but it gets bonus points for most of the Pink Rangers subsequently appearing nude.

So wait, GhostBusters and The Real Ghostbusters were different?

Yes, they were different. Putting "real" before the name of an already existing show, and making it different is just one of those marketing ploys that kids were dumb enough to fall for. I did.

It probably had something to do with copyright, and production companies splitting off or something.

No Thomas The Tank Engine? :o

I didn't watch much TV when I was wee, still don't.

Of the choises I liked Transformers and Looney Toons.

My favourite show, though, was "Les mondes engloutis" (Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea). It was a truly brilliant children's show with superb music. I don't know if I'd have that opinion have I seen the show today, but I think so. :)
