What shows did you like as a kid?

I saw an episode of Sesame Street when I was older, I think Kermit is a stoner.

1. Ranma is quite stupid (I mean the "point" about the changes).
Kenshin is interesting but sometimes cruel.
Pokemon is the most stupid anime ever!
Even "clones" like digimon are 1000 times better.
I really like DBZ and YGO.
And of course I think the best Anime is Candy Candy since it's a very realistic story.
BTW are there any anime threads here???
 
This poll is not heavily bent toward a generation, it's heavily bent toward an american generation. I don't know half of this.

I watched the cartoons/anime that were at the TV at the time.
I particularly liked DBZ, Saint Seiya, Albator (Captain Harlock), Les Mondes engloutis, The Mysterious cities of gold, Cobra, Ulysses 31, and a lot more.
 
I loved em and still do :) Especially, The A-Team, Airwolf and Transformers :D

Apparently, us French had much more Japanese cartoons than our fellow Americans... :)

It sometimes got to the point where TV would show anything as long as it was Japanese. Remember Ken the Survivor ? I never understood how they could show that to kids...

Ranma should be appreciated for what it is. Adolescent sexually-charged comedy. If you think about it too much then it becomes absurd and thus, no fun.

It's one of my favorites, even if it is revisionist anti-Meiji Restoration propaganda.

I wasn't really that much into cartoons as a kid, as a small kid I of course loved:

Biene Maya (or Maja?), Nils Holgersson and the Smurfs :)

Later the only cartoon-show i saw regularly was Captain Future ;)

by that time i preferred shows like "The Fall Guy", Airwolf or Night Rider though .....
 
At my age, I definitely no longer have to worry about "looking like a kid". If anything, my eccentric interest in games, cartoons and anime make me a big hit with other people's kids. :lol:

Masquerouge : yup, agree. Even as an adult, I find Ken to be disturbingly unhealthy and sadistic. To even think to show it to kids... You have to be really weird in your head...
