What The, Hey? Bug Mod Trying to Turn On?

I wrote code to have BUG check for updates in SVN and on our website, but I never finished it. AFAIK it shouldn't be checking. Odd that it would say BUG and not CIV4BeyondSword.exe as Windows doesn't know anything about the mod you're running. Did it give any other information than that?
For your peace of mind, if it is checking for updates, it is getting static information only without sending any information out. There are two pieces: check the website for a static file containing the latest version # and checking our Subversion repository for new code. It's been over a year since I touched that code, and I'm pretty sure I never got it to actually do the check.
