What to Do about his Bug?

I've reported this in Bug Reports forum already, but the bug happened in my hof game. I was playing a monarch hof game as the Mayans, and all of a sudden, even though I was still in the ancient age, I could upgrade Javelins to longbowmen. Even if I don't upgrade any, do I have to start over (I ran a test, and sure enough they became longbowmen, which, of course, after I reloaded)?

Problem solved, I restarted my computer then reloaded the game, problem gone .
