what version of VD is in Bat 2.0?

ok, i may decided to finally start using BAT. kinda tired of all the civs looking the same.
just a couple of quick questions before i commit...
looking at the info thread i dont see which version of BUG that BAT uses. Is it still bundled with 3.6 or does it contain 4.0?
if not, will dropping in 4.0 cause any problems? what about BULL?
sorry if this is obvious to others.. but after looking at the info thread the 3 mods all seem kinda independent in their states.

hmm this is strange.
i downloaded the latest SVN of bat. put it in a folder called Bat Mod in my mods folder. when i load the mod.. it says Bat Mod at the top right of the main menu.. but it doesn't look like the mod actually loaded after further inspection.
when i start a new game and hover over the civ flag i get no version info in the popup.
i get nothing related to BUG in the interface. after a quick trip the the worldbuilder.. the units still all look the same regardless of civ.
what did i miss?

The SVN doesn't have the complete mod. I suggest you download and run the installer. Much simpler then mixing the parts together.

no can do.. i have problems getting the sourceforge website to work for some strange reason.

Try the direct link. To do it the other way you need to merge BAT, VD, BUG, and BULL together. You will also need to compile the BULL DLL file, which will require you to get a C++ compiler set up to work with Civ4 DLLS, and that's a pita.
