What will "beating the game" involve for you?

For me 'beating the game' = establish optimal strategies for fastest finish times for all VC, what with all future patches and expansions should take a while.

Beating the game for me is working your way up to deity and finish it with every civ at least once.
I tend to stick with 5-10 civilizations do most of the time.
Also like to collect steam achievements so that might me another goal.

This-moment-Sprenk can aspire to whatever grandiose goals he wants (win with every civ with every victory condition at every difficulty, finishing every achievement, etc.), but I know perfectly well that future-Sprenk is going to laugh at that laundry list and do whatever the heck he wants. And, to be honest, that's a relief!

Also, you can continue past Deity to Deity+, Deity++, etc... Just wait in increments of 5 standard turns without moving anything at the start of each deity game per extra difficulty level you want to advance.

Don't forget, you have to delete your starting settler for Deity ++ Ultra.
