Wow. 62,000,000 is way too high. The article you sited said that he killed 6 million Jews and then another 6 million alleged undesirables (including Soviet POW's, homosexuals, freemasons, etc.) in concentration/death camps. Add to that the casualties caused by his armies and that original number is still astronomical by comparison.

It is a slight exxageration but you could count all of World war 2 except the Pacific theatre I suppose.

According to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom, yeah, that would be about the equivalent to modern day United Kingdom. In fact, not even that, still shy by 1 million and some change.
