What's your first/earliest Civ IV memory?

My first was with the japanese on earth 18 civs. Got a religion and tried to attack a china with mech infantry while all i had was rifleman. needless to say my attack failed, so I did the only reasonable thing to do.

It is something I still do to this day when I get angry at the AI and/or random number generator and it involves three easy to follow steps.

1. Get angry

2. Go to world builder

3. Nuke the * out of everyone.

My first exposure was when I was in the Army, and one of the guys in the barracks had just gotten Civ I. Played a little bit, but not enough to get any of the concepts, or to think much of the game. Fast forward to about 1998, and I was in my local Videogame Store (remember those?) looking for a fun game for my snazzy new PSOne, and there was Civilization II (yes, for the Playstation). Played that thing to death; umpteen games over the years. Eventually, when I got a computer in 2007 (I'm slow with tech), the first thing I bought for it was Vanilla and Warlords. Haven't looked back since.

I got Civ4 on Christmas 2007. My first civ4 memory was the tutorial, but that was on an ancient computer(very slow, even with tiny maps); the graphics was crap, but that didn't stop me from playing!

Before that I was already addicted with civ3(my first civ game), and much earlier than that I played single player pseudo-civ games with uno stacko (borders), lego duplo blocks (units, buildings, cities), used AA batteries(nukes!) and laser pointers(SDI). Even then I remember having so much fun that a single game would last one weekend! You can imagine how delighted I was when I learned about civ3.

I can't remember my first few games of Civ4, I think I bought it when I was on some antidepressants that made me lose a lot of memories from that time. The earliest memories I have of it are bringing it to a friends house and playing a hotseat game with him.
