This is an informative poll (naturally! :)) to see why everyone joined this game.

The Options:

Role Playing - There's an oppurtunity for people (as citizens) to make groups, and create stories about life in the demogame.

Making Decisions - This is how people have the ability to affect the outcome of a game. Deciding if we want to go to war or not. (Do not confuse this with 'Debating').

Debating - Certain topics are naturally open for debates in a democracy. Rules, how to play the game, etc..

As a learning experience - The demogame can be a forum to see how others play the game, and how one game progresses via a series of game saves/

Joining the government (advisors) - Similar to the role playing aspect, but actually making suggestions based on certain aspects of the game, such as trade, or science.

Playing the Game - Trying to be elected so that you can actually play the game.

Out of Curiosity - It's a unique game, different things can happen that would change the course of a normal game.

Other - It's obvious. :)
