When are we getting MoM II?

Am I just so out of touch with mainstream gaming tastes that I would love to see a modern sequel to this game? Maybe based on Civ IV engine. Anyone else ready to see this game updated?

Masters of Magic cost me 3 weeks of work, one girlfriend and my dog went missing never to be found. On the other hand I did save on washing powder. Loved that game. Chances of a sequel? As much as getting a Star Control 4, nil-to-zip.
