When Spain gets two NWs to itself early game

You still get +2 (where other civs get +1) happiness and +100 gold from every NW as Spain. However, every situation where you can take proper advantage of their UA, is completely broken. Finding a NW first or settling almost any NW as Spain is basically cheating. Especially all the G&K and BNW natural wonders.

I think that's a complete over-exaggeration. Even when I play games as Spain AND settle my 1st and 2nd cities next to NWs, I will still get outteched on IMMORTAL. Certainly not a game breaker.

I dig Spain. Unlike the great players in this thread, I don't think 2 wonders is auto dominate for the majority of people who play the game.

Having my units out frantically searching for Wonders while my gold drops dangerously low brings an entirely new feel to the game.

Having Urula and Mt Sinai both within working distance of 2 different cities got me CRAAAZY amounts of faith, My religion spread like mad during that game.

Out-teched, but depending on the specific natural, it usually breaks that particular system. For example, an early faith natural is guaranteed religious dominance and breaks the religion aspect.

Greizer posted a fun game with KSM at the start, which pretty much broke the wonder race aspect of the game.

I have yet to play a GBR start game, but I hear they are basically won by about 20 turns in.

Spain is ultra cheat mode engaged. How there is actually a thread about how fun it is when you are uber cheating as Spain with two natural wonders is beyond my comprehension. Spain is mega broken and banned in all play that is even remotely fair or competitive.

A large part is of course what NW you're settling. An early Mt. Kailash or Mt. Sinai city certainly won't give you a huge tech lead. However, it'll still help in that you basically get a free expansion city right off the bat, meaning you'll be privy to the best location that you otherwise might not get or have to stunt your capital's growth to pump out a settler.

In most of my broken Spain games in Immortal, I usually take the tech lead at around the Medieval era. I might go as late as Renaissance if I didn't get particularly lucky (ie. No NW start and settling). On the other side, some of my best games (ie. second city is KSM or GBR in capital) I took the lead pretty much right from the get go and just wonder spammed my way to victory.
